A Shoot Out in the Wild Wild West

I just got done watching a few games tonight. The Jazz/Warriors game was flat out nasty. It was a very exciting and high pace in the first half, then the Jazz just became too much for the ailing Warriors. After the game was finished, I flipped it over to the Nugget/Celtics game and watched the Nugs give the Celtics their first West lost. Then I flipped over and watched the last of the Blazers/Kings game. That’s when it really hit me and I thought, “Holy crap, this years playoffs in the west are going to be the best ever.”

Seriously, the amount of talent in the West is just straight out wrong. There shouldn’t be 10 teams that could run it all. My mouth just about hit the floor when I heard that after the Warriors lost tonight, they are sitting in 9th place. Only eight make it, and I can’t imagine a team as dangerous as the Warriors to be out of the playoffs. Someone’s going to have to take out Dallas and we need them to step it up. The Blazers are tripping as of late. What’s with that, boyz of RoseGarden? Brandon, LaMarcus, and Outlaw, you need to step it up big time or wait for the future.

Did anyone watch the first half of the Lakers game tonight? At half it was 37 to 73 for the Lakers. I say if they win it all this year then they should be known as cheaters for stealing one of the best big man in the game today in exchange for one of the worst. Cheaters, cheaters, cheaters…

Shaq is going to play this week, and I bet he’s pissed as hell that Dwight Howard stole one of his nicknames. “Superman” With age being Shaq’s kryptonite, I can think of one cure, and that’s Nash in your face….

It’s going to be a Wild one this year. Each game is significant to at least ten teams in the west, and were only in one game after the NBA All-Star Break…

By the way, Keith Van Horn’s agent is the man. How many millions of dollars did he just make the dude to play or not play for a couple of months. That was just straight out sick. As for Kidd, too bad your not one because if the Mavs don’t win it this year, then it wont be for a while, and when I say a while, I mean never.
